Practice Entry. My name is Susana Gonzalez. I am a makeup artist on the side as I also work for the family business wich is promoting our Tequila 3 Amigos. Fall of 2009 is when I started my first semester at GCC. My goal is to become a nurse and to always help everyone in need. September 11, 2012 I graduated as a Certified Nursing Assistant at GCC. I am currently on the waiting list for the Nursing Program and if everything goes well I will be starting block 1 in the spring of 2014.
Family Buisness
Tequila is a spirit that can only be made in Mexico and nowhere else, making the spirit exclusive and special to Mexico and to all tequila drinkers and tequila experts. Tequila is also made in certain regions of Mexico. The Gonzalez’s were fortunate to be from the heart of region where tequila is produced. The Gonzalez’s were also experienced in growing agaves for unsurpassed tequila at the time. As time passed, premium tequilas were being bought out by outside investors and soon the bottom line was the main concern. This is why 3 Amigos was made.

Assigned Entry # 6 Final Blog Reflection
I enjoyed blogging to a certain extent. I liked how we where given a topic and we had to explain in our own words what we thought of it and about our reactions. Once we had that done we would get feed back from class mates and other people around the world through comments and those simple comments made me feel important and happy that someone else agreed with my blog post. There was a time when I didnt take blogging to seriously. I stopped reading what other people had wrote on their blogs and I stopped commenting all together, I stopped being their audience. Its not that they didnt keep me interested I just lost some motivation. A couple of things I learned from blogging is becoming a big part of such a large community. You are able to find at least ten topics you are interested in learning about. You then connect with the author and start writing your opinions and thoughts and reactions and you are actually are being heared. My English Instructor did an exellent job in expaining to us what blogs are about and he kept us motivated all throught the semester with very interesting topics. I will continue writing blogs but mostly about makeup, tequila, going through nursing classes, and lastly about my new journey through pregnacy and it all started because a great instructor.

Comments did make a difference! It makes you feel like your writing for a purpose and like you have a real audience even if its just your classmates. Nice and honest blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteSusan--I am glad you enjoyed the blog project and found some value in it. You have some good content, but it is a little brief. I was hoping to get more specific and in-depth discussion of your experience with blogging. Thanks for the feedback. It is cool that you will keep blogging.
ReplyDeleteI'm sad I didn't get that bottle of tequila you mentioned! ;)
